Xuanze Wu (b.1996) was born in China and is based in London now. As a mixed media artist and textile designer, she is inspired by social-political issues and contemporary life. By researching and recreating the daily object and materials, utilising craft processes, she aims to bring a new understanding of life and the society we are living in.

Xuanze holds an MA in Textile Design from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Fashion Design from the China Academy of Art. She employs diverse mediums and techniques in her practice from fibre art, textile crafts, to drawing and installation.
